Beautefully taken pictures. Do you label them in terms of location, name of the site, the time of the season? The reason I ask is because these could be very helpful for someone interested in plant biology, for example looking at adaptation of native versus exotics, or some thing that has to do with acclimatization of aquatic species to certain habitats. I really like your pictures. They are the best original art I have seen on the web. How can I say why I like them? The styles all differ so much but are very artistic. Some feature shape, others intense color but soft focus. I like your trees. I thought I was the only person to lie on my back and shoot tree limbs in the winter. I like the person in the middle of the road in the Fall folder. I like your Newark reflections. I am not a critic, so I can't reduce your photos to bits and pieces. There is no reason to! Your eye knows what is good. It is OK to analyze AFTER you shoot the picture, but not before.

Hello. I enjoyed looking at your site. I was interested to see your black and white photographs.. because I do photography myself and I perfer black and white. The one I thought that was a very good image was your "I stand alone" photo. It was a great siloute photo, and they are not easy to do. What made it interesting was that the top half was a black and white mixed together, then there was a layer of white, and then a layer of black at the bottom. And the person was in black. I also liked your photography of the lady standing next to the sign because you see this little lady standing next to this huge leg bilboard and it looks funny.. like there is a giant over head of her. I love NYC, so that's the first section I checked out. :) Good luck with your journies of "painting with light" I'll have to come back another time to take more of a look around.

Well done.I was searching for inspiration for a project i have to do for one of my assignments at unervercity where i am studing for a Bachelor of Architecture. My brief is to take the viewer on a journey through illusion. A series of photos that portray something which is not what it seems to be. I like "big color" perhaps the best. Then one of the non-titled ones. It is amazing that you could capture such images with such a low-tech device. Is it possible to do a pin-hole picture that is very sharp? (personal bias, I'm sure. I value photos that are crisp and sharp...just wondering if it's possible to do that with an oat-meal box camera. Anyway, keep working at it. Imagine creating a photograph with your pin-hole camera; mounting it, and selling it to a wealthy patron of the arts. Then taking the money and buying a fancy view camera with all those controls. Wow! You could become an eccentric photographic icon in your own time!

Hi Igor, Just stopped by to see if you have new pics. Cannot think of any bad pictures, :) every single one of them I liked, especially the ones for the fall, "wet trees" and the windows.
